Interim skate plaza under the Cambie Bridge

Under Cambie BridgeThe Vancouver Park Board is planning an interim skateboard plaza under the Cambie Bridge at Cambie St and W 2nd Ave. Skate Plaza 1.5 will act as a stand-in for the Downtown skateboard park (Vancouver skate plaza) which will be removed as part of the Northeast False Creek project.

We've hired a consulting team, including van der Zalm Landscape Architects, New Line Skateparks, and Daniel Yabar (Spain), to design the facility.

We look forward to hearing from the skateboarding community and the public as we design this exciting new space! Check back for details on upcoming open houses, design workshops, and a series of stakeholder meetings in the winter and spring of 2018.
